El Chili Gordo should not be missed! The property has been beautifully restored and is very welcoming. Oscar and Cathy are the perfect hosts. Finding El Chile Gordo was the perfect finishing touch to our vacation in Campeche! The menu is a journey through the history and geography of the country – some dishes we already know, but at El Chile Gordo with a greater intensity of flavor, (among them the mole), and other dishes that we discovered there.
